StampOut Privacy Policy

Effective July 20, 2026

StampOut turns your photos, videos, and camera captures into postal-style stamps. It is built to work offline, and it is built to keep your content on your device. This policy explains exactly what that means.

The short version: StampOut has no account system and no server that stores your photos, videos, stamps, or captions. Everything you create lives only in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot see your content, and we do not collect, sell, or share it.

1. Information we do not collect

StampOut does not require you to create an account or provide a name, email address, or phone number. We do not run analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track your activity across other apps or websites. Because there is no StampOut server that receives your content, there is no profile of you for us to build.

2. Camera, photos, and motion access

The app asks for a few device permissions, each used for a single, clearly-stated purpose and never in the background:

3. Location (optional)

If you leave the optional “Save stamp locations” setting turned on, StampOut records the coordinates where a camera stamp was taken and stores them on your device, alongside that stamp, so a future map feature can show where your stamps were made. This location data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or any third party.

You can turn this off at any time in Settings — when it is off, StampOut never requests location permission and saves stamps with no coordinates. You can also revoke location permission from your device Settings at any time.

4. Subscriptions & billing

StampOut offers a subscription with a free trial. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play — StampOut never sees or handles your card, payment, or billing details.

To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, as a data processor. When your locally-saved subscription status needs verifying, an anonymous, randomly-generated identifier is exchanged with RevenueCat and your app store to confirm the purchase. This identifier is not linked to your name or your content. You can read RevenueCat's privacy practices at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your app store account settings.

5. Where your data is stored

Your stamps, their images, captions, dates, optional locations, and your app preferences are stored in StampOut's private storage on your device — nowhere else. They are included in your device's own encrypted backups only if you have enabled iCloud or Google backup for the app; those backups are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies, not ours.

6. Deleting your data

Because we hold none of your content on a server, there is nothing further for us to delete on your behalf.

7. Children's privacy

StampOut is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. As the app collects no personal data on our servers, no such information about a child is ever gathered by us.

8. Third-party services

StampOut relies on a small number of trusted providers, strictly for the functions above:

Each operates under its own privacy policy. StampOut does not send your photos, videos, stamps, or locations to any of them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how StampOut handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will also be surfaced inside the app. Continuing to use StampOut after an update means you accept the revised policy.
