Privacy Policy - Outfix

Outfix ("we", "our", or "us") is an AI wardrobe assistant that helps users upload clothing, organize a digital closet, generate outfit ideas, and create optional avatar try-on previews. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using Outfix.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: We use Firebase Authentication, including anonymous sign-in, to create and manage your Outfix account.
• Onboarding profile: We may collect preferences such as name, age range, gender selection, style interests, wardrobe goals, and subscription status.
• Clothing photos: You may upload photos containing one or more clothing items. These photos are processed to detect, describe, and create clean transparent wardrobe item images.
• Avatar photos: You may upload full-body photos of yourself or family members for realistic outfit try-on previews.
• Generated content: We store generated clothing images, outfit boards, AI outfit recommendations, avatar previews, metadata, and job status updates.
• Device and app data: We may collect app version, device identifiers, notification tokens, diagnostic information, and, where you give permission, advertising identifiers used for ad attribution and campaign measurement.
• Purchase data: Subscription status is handled through RevenueCat and the relevant app store. We do not directly collect or store full payment card details.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and maintain your digital closet, outfits, avatar try-ons, and profile.
• Analyze clothing photos and generate clean item images and structured clothing metadata.
• Generate AI outfit suggestions and visual outfit previews.
• Send service notifications, such as job completion updates, if notifications are enabled.
• Manage free and premium access, including upload limits and subscription features.
• Improve reliability, safety, image quality, and the overall product experience.
• Measure marketing campaign performance, understand whether an install or subscription came from an ad, and improve future advertising when tracking permission is granted.
• Detect abuse, enforce limits, and protect the security of the app and backend.

3. Photos, Avatars, and Face or Body Data

Avatar try-on features may involve processing photos that include your face, body, clothing, and body shape. We use this data only to provide avatar creation and outfit try-on functionality. We do not sell face or body data, and we do not use avatar photos for advertising targeting.

Photos may be processed by AI service providers to remove backgrounds, detect clothing items, create clean item images, generate outfit descriptions, or render try-on previews. Processed results may be stored in Firebase Storage and Firestore so you can view them later in Outfix.

4. App Tracking, Advertising Attribution, and Marketing

Outfix may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow tracking, Outfix may access the device advertising identifier and share limited app event data, such as app installs, onboarding completion, subscription events, and other conversion events, with marketing and attribution providers. This helps us measure ad performance and understand which campaigns lead to app usage or purchases.

Outfix may use TikTok marketing or similar advertising measurement tools for attribution, conversion tracking, and campaign optimization. We do not use clothing photos, avatar photos, face data, body data, or generated try-on images for advertising targeting. You can deny or change tracking permission in iOS Settings. If tracking permission is denied, Outfix will not access the device advertising identifier for cross-app or cross-site tracking.

5. Third-Party Services

Outfix uses trusted service providers to operate the app, including Firebase for authentication, storage, and database features; AI model providers for image analysis and generation; RevenueCat for subscription management; Expo for notifications; TikTok or similar marketing providers for attribution where enabled and permitted; and hosting infrastructure providers for backend services.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account, closet, avatar, generated outfit, and profile data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account from the Profile section. Account deletion is intended to remove your Outfix profile, clothing records, avatar records, generated try-ons, stored files, and authentication account where supported.

7. Your Choices

• You may choose not to upload clothing or avatar photos.
• You may disable notifications in your device settings.
• You may allow, deny, or later change tracking permission in iOS Settings.
• You may delete generated avatar try-ons where the app provides deletion controls.
• You may request support or account help by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

Outfix is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Security

We use authentication, access controls, and secure cloud services to protect user data. No system is completely secure, and users should avoid uploading photos they do not have permission to use.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Outfix changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
